For our customer we installed a fully automatic machine for the assembly of final products for biopsy.  With the help of the robot, the “rings” with blades are removed from the trays and inserted into the holders. After deployment, the biopsy rings are automatically sealed with a precise dose of adhesive.

After gluing, the glue dose and shape is checked by a high-resolution camera. Subsequently, a protective cap is deployed by a second robot to protect the blade and the product is moved to the insertion plates for removal. This automatic machine was made for high precision handling during assembly and to protect the operator during manual production where there was a high risk of injury.
